The Engenius Wireless LAN Access Point W/Broadband is a stand-alone device used to link wired Ethernet such as 10/100Base-T to wireless Ethernet such as IEEE802.11b. This allows wireless clients such as notebooks, to exchange information with clients on the wired Ethernet. This exchange of information is transparent to the user so after connecting on with a wireless client, it would seem as if you were directly connected to wired network except without the wires.
